Today, we are getting to know Sarah, one of our dedicated Senior CFO & Advisory Solutions Associates. She provides fractional CFO services and strategic guidance that helps our clients strengthen their operations and supports their long-term growth.
Sarah is based out of Maryland, has over 13 years of finance and accounting experience, and has been with Chazin since 2025.
1. What’s the most rewarding part of your job?
Building strong relationships with clients and helping them navigate financial challenges with clarity and confidence. I love partnering with organizations to develop sustainable strategies that allow their missions to thrive.
2. What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
I enjoy spending time with my family and traveling. Whether it’s exploring a new city or discovering a great local spot, I always enjoy getting out and experiencing something new. I also really enjoy baking. It’s one of my favorite ways to unwind.
3. What’s your favorite volunteer activity?
Most of my volunteering is centered around my kids. I’m regularly involved at their school and help with their sports activities whenever needed. I’ve also volunteered with Birthday Cakes 4 Free, which provides birthday cakes to community members who might not otherwise receive one.
4. Any exciting news or a fun fact about yourself?
A fun fact about me is that I once danced for 46 hours—no sitting, no sleeping—in Penn State’s THON™, the world’s largest student‑run philanthropy supporting Four Diamonds and the fight against pediatric cancer. THON has been a meaningful part of my life for many years, beginning with Mini‑THON in high school, and it remains one of the organizations I’m most proud to have been part of.
