Today, we are getting to know Melinda, one of our dedicated Onboarding Managers. Melinda is based out of Tennessee, has over 25 years of finance and accounting experience, and has been with Chazin since 2025.
1. What’s the most rewarding part of your job?
In Onboarding, we step in during times of need to help clients clean up accounts and address reporting and audit issues, easing stress so teams can focus on their mission. Seeing a client’s relief once everything is up to date is priceless.
2. What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
I enjoy being with my family. After moving back to my hometown last summer, following 30 years away, we love hosting family gatherings, traveling, spending time with our girls, and relaxing by the pool.
3. What’s your favorite volunteer activity?
I enjoy volunteering at my church with community meals, the food pantry, and mission projects.
4. Any exciting news or a fun fact about yourself?
My husband and I met in college when I was 18, we were both on athletic scholarships. After five years of dating, he proposed in Paris near the Eiffel Tower while I was playing professional basketball overseas.
We have been married for 34 years and are the proud parents of two grown daughters, Emily and Elizabeth—both getting married in 2027. HELP!!
