Today, we are getting to know amy, one of our dedicated Controllers. Amy is based out of New Jersey and has been with Chazin since 2025.
1. What’s the most rewarding part of your job?
Knowing that my financial expertise directly supports an organization’s mission is the most rewarding part of my job. By providing accurate financial reporting and strategic financial guidance, I help leadership make informed decisions so they can focus on advancing their organization’s purpose. I also enjoy building strong relationships as a trusted advisor and helping clients create the financial stability they need to grow and maximize their impact.
2. What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
As a Jersey girl, I love spending my summers on Long Beach Island with my family. When I’m not on LBI, I enjoy traveling, staying active, and perfecting recipes for delicious craft cocktails.
3. What’s your favorite volunteer activity?
My family loves participating in our parish’s Christmas Adopt-a-Family program. It’s a meaningful way for all of us to get involved—my daughters and I shop for gifts, my husband assembles bikes and toys, and together we wrap everything. Giving back to our community while helping make Christmas wishes come true is a truly rewarding experience.
4. Any exciting news or a fun fact about yourself?
Fun fact: I’m a big Peloton enthusiast! You’ll often find me on the leaderboard or taking a live class in NYC whenever I get the chance.
