Today, we are getting to know Naomi Savoie, one of our talented Senior Accountants. Naomi is based out of Louisiana and has been with Chazin & Company since 2016. Let's learn more about her:
1. What's your role at Chazin & Company?
I am a Senior Accountant and currently have 3 clients. I provide day-to-day entries and create financial reports and workbooks for audits.
2. What's the most rewarding part about your job?
I find working with my clients and getting to know their mission helps me to see what they do and how my work helps them achieve their goals.
3. What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
I love spending time with my family, gardening and traveling.
4. What's your favorite volunteer activity?
For the last few years, I have been the logistics person for “Team Haggis” of the Dana Farber Pan-Mass Challenge. They raise money to fight Graff verse Host Disease (GVHD) that happens with transplant patients. This is a charity that is close to home, and I love doing it each year.
5. Please share any exciting news or a fun fact about yourself:
Fun Fact: I am originally from Scotland and moved with my family to the states when I was 11.
Exciting News: My husband and I just moved from Maryland to Louisiana to follow our daughter to LSU (Go Tigers!).
