Employee Spotlight is a blog series meant to offer an inside look at our company culture and, most importantly, highlight the talented individuals who help make our company special. From accountants and software implementation specialists to operations, marketing, and HR professionals, get to know the people behind Chazin.
Today, we are getting to know Mattie, our Marketing Partnership Coordinator. In her role, Mattie builds relationships with our partner organizations and helps Chazin support their initiatives, while also coordinating webinars and other educational events. Mattie is based out of Texas and has been with Chazin since 2024. Let’s learn more about her:
1. What’s the most rewarding part of your job?
I’m SO excited to sponsor so many cool initiatives for nonprofit organizations! We’re giving back while getting our name out there. (:
2. What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
I love taking f45 and yoga classes. My dog Brownie and I are always on the town lake trail! I’ve been really into hiking trips this year, so I am hoping to fit one more in before 2026 (I have my eye on Arizona). I also really enjoy interior design, so catch me reading Architectural Digest religiously. Randomly, I have been into clay sculpting/throwing recently, but I am not ready to showcase my work just yet!!
3. What’s your favorite volunteer activity?
I volunteer with the Austin Parks Foundation. We get a group together to clean up Austin parks by gardening and kayaking around the lake to pick up trash. It’s a great community! I also attend Austin Preservation Society giving events (obsessed with old houses, and we love to see them restored).
4. Any exciting news or a fun fact about yourself?
Fun fact…. I can do four pull-ups! It has taken me months to get this far (lol) but I’m hoping to be able to do dips next year. If you have any calisthenic tips, toss them over here.
