Today, we are getting to know Cindy Manning, one of our talented Senior Accountants. Cindy is based out of Tennessee and has been with Chazin & Company since 2020. Let's learn more about her:
1. What's your role at Chazin & Company?
I am a Senior Accountant with three clients. My clients vary, serving different communities. I work with an organization that empowers school counselors to promote student success, an organization that strengthens and promotes the Catholic mission of its schools and universities, and an organization that brings arts to the Nashville community.
2. What's the most rewarding part about your job?
What I find most rewarding about my job is working alongside nonprofits with worthwhile missions and providing services that help contribute to their continued success.
3. What do you enjoy doing in your free time?
Going to TN Titans games, reading, vacationing (family trips to the beach!), and playing fantasy football.
4. What's your favorite volunteer activity?
I love supporting a local nonprofit organization (Shower Up-Nashville) that provides mobile showers for the unhoused. It is a local organization that has expanded to several other cities over the past year. Not only do they provide physical showers, but they shower Hope, Love and Grace to those who often don’t receive these necessities.
5. Please share any exciting news or a fun fact about yourself:
I am a huge TN Titans fan and an original Personal Seat License holder. In the past 22 years I have only missed about 3-4 home games (including preseason). The only exception is the 2020 COVID season when I did not attend any games.
