Chazin & Company’s Systems Team can assist you in finding accounting software that fits your church’s needs if you are not satisfied with the system you currently have. The Systems Team can also implement or migrate to a new system for an additional charge.
We are familiar with many donor database systems, bill payment systems and payroll processors. We can assist you in finding a vendor that fits the needs of your Parish, if needed, for an additional charge.
We encourage you to set up a complimentary consultation so we can learn about your Parish, your current processes, and provide recommendations to improve your present accounting and finance function. After the initial consultation and our review of your questionnaire and accounting file, we will provide you with a proposal for services for your consideration.
Recommended for Churches $100K - $500K in revenue size that have staff and/or a volunteer Treasurer that will enter all Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions into the accounting system. They will also perform all reconciliations, as well as prepare month-end financial reports for Vestry and Finance Committee review. Chazin & Company staff will review the work quarterly to confirm it is posted accurately and to ensure that nonprofit regulations and best practices are followed, controls are in place, and to provide any necessary guidance and training.
The organization should also appoint a maximum of two people who can serve as points of contact with Chazin & Company to streamline communication.
* The estimated costs will be furnished upon receipt of further items subsequent to the initial discussion with the Chazin & Company Business Development Team.
Recommended for Churches $500K -$1.5M in revenue size with less than 50 Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable transactions, and no more than three bank accounts to reconcile per quarter.
The Church will have someone on staff and/or a volunteer Treasurer that is able to deposit checks and pay the bills. They will also enter all Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable transactions into the accounting system. The Nonprofit Accountant Specialist will reconcile bank accounts, close the quarter, and provide quarterly financial statements for the Finance Committee and Vestry to review.
The organization should also appoint a maximum of two people who can serve as points of contact with Chazin & Company to streamline communication.

Recommended for Churches $1.5M+ in revenue size and have transaction volume that requires monthly entries and reconciliations. The cost for this service is based on the scope of work assigned, the total number of transactions, number of bank and investment accounts, and complexity of the Church. Chazin & Company can provide both lower-level and higher-level accounting services as well as CFO services, depending on the Church’s current staff and needs. The estimated cost is provided to the Church for consideration after completing a questionnaire and a brief review of the current accounting file. Chazin & Company will prepare a thoughtful proposal based on our knowledge of your Church.
